N2  - RésuméLa pandémie de covid-19 place le concept One Health (Une seule santé) au coeur des débats et vient rappeler l’interconnexion qui existe entre la santé et le bien-être des humains, des animaux et de l’environnement. Ce concept ancien a été remis sur le devant de la scène au début des années 2000 et permet d’appréhender la propagation des zoonoses grâce à une approche intégrée et unifiée de la santé. La mise en oeuvre du concept One Health s’est faite progressivement. Toutefois, le développement de l’efficience de ce concept devrait notamment se faire au moyen d’une institutionnalisation consolidée, un renforcement de la protection animale et une démocratisation des nouveaux modèles alimentaires.Mots-clésOne Health, droit de la santé, droit animal, droit de l’environnement, droit du vivantAbstractThe covid-19 pandemic puts the One Health concept at the centre of the debate and reminds us of the interconnection between the health and well-being of humans, animals and the environment. This long-standing concept was revived in the early 2000s and provides a way of addressing the spread of zoonotic diseases through an integrated and unified approach to health. The implementation of the One Health concept has been gradual. However, the development of the efficiency of this concept should be achieved through a consolidated institutionalisation, a strengthening of animal protection and a democratisation of new food models.KeywordsOne Health, health care law, animal law, environmental law, living law
