N2  - RésuméNous sommes très souvent, culturellement, sociétalement, porteurs d’une disqualification de la personne dite « malade mentale »… Celle-ci se trouve alors assignée à une place où (pour son bien ?) on va restreindre sa liberté, discréditer sa parole et la priver de son statut et, finalement, de sa dignité. L’hôpital, les établissements pourraient alors être pensés comme des lieux de réapprentissage, de reconquête de cette liberté revendiquée d’abord par les personnes malades, mais également par les familles, les parents, les associations et les professionnels. La belle notion d’inclusion (pour peu qu’on en ait les moyens) deviendrait alors le fondement d’une action professionnelle à réinventer…Mots-clésLiberté – Dignité – Inclusion – Action professionnelleAbstractVery often, culturally and socially, we disqualify people who are said to be “mentally ill”… They find themselves assigned to a place where (for their own good?) their freedom is restricted, their voice is discredited and they are deprived of their status and, ultimately, their dignity. Hospitals and other institutions could therefore be seen as places where patients can relearn and regain the freedom they are demanding, first and foremost from patients themselves, but also from their families, relatives, associations and professionals.
