Presented as a law enshrining the right to deep and continuous sedation, it limited the legalisation of this practice to people whose prognosis is lifethreateningin the short term or to those who are unable to express their wishes, for whom continuing treatment would be unreasonably obstinate and is therefore interrupted or not undertaken.
