N2  - Abstract : La Cour suprême du Canada a rendu une décision historique en matière de droits fondamentaux le 6 février 2015 dans l’arrêt Carter. Il s’agit d’un tournant majeur pour la Cour depuis l’arrêt Sue Rodriguez, bien connu au Canada, ayant déclaré constitutionnel les articles du Code criminel portant sur l’interdiction de l’aide à mourir. Parallèlement à la décision Carter, le Québec adoptait la loi concernant les soins de fin de vie.On February 6th 2015, the Supreme Court of Canada issued an historical decision with regards to fundamental rights in the Carter report. This judgment is a major turning point for the Court since the Sue Rodriguez report, well known in Canada, declaring the constitutionality of articles in the Criminal Code prohibiting the provision of assistance in dying.
