N2  - RésuméLes évolutions technologiques ont de tout temps présidé à l’évolution des sociétés et de nos modes de vie ; mais qu’en sera-t-il de cette révolution « NBIC » (Nanotechnologies, Biotechnologies, Information technologies, Cognitive sciences) née il y a un peu plus de vingt ans sur la côte ouest des États-Unis, et de certains courants de pensée qui s’en nourrissent, parfois dogmatiques comme le « trans- » ou « post-humanisme » ? Les enjeux de cette mutation sont inédits non seulement parce qu’ils mobilisent des sommes colossales et impliquent l’humanité entière, mais parce qu’ils invitent à élaborer une nouvelle ontologie et une nouvelle éthique de cet « impensé » que représente cette interface homme-machine, en tout cas à cette échelle et à ce degré de complexité. Cette révolution nous invite ainsi à réfléchir aux modes de vie que nous voulons pour ne pas nous les voir imposer ; à nous demander avec Spinoza « ce que peut un corps ? » et à refonder une éthique du vivant.Mots-clésNBIC – Mutation – Post-humanisme – Homme-machine – ÉthiqueAbstractTechnological developments have always led to changes in our societies and in our way of life.But what should we expect from the NBIC revolution that appeared some 20 years ago on the US West Coast? What will its consequences be on those somehow dogmatic schools of thought that are directly linked to it such as trans or post humanism?The stakes of these technological changes are very high, not only because they may be tremendously expensive and may have an impact on all mankind, but also because ”the unthought” represented by this man/machine interface may lead to a new ontology, a new ethic.
