N2  - RésuméDepuis la découverte de techniques moléculaires comme CRISPR/Cas9, capables de modifier le génome de manière précise et connues sous le nom de « genome editing » ou « édition du génome », la discussion sur l’admissibilité morale des modifications du génome humain a été relancée. Surtout, les interventions sur la lignée germinale humaine, par laquelle les modifications génétiques sont transmises de génération en génération, font l’objet de ce débat mené aux niveaux national et international. En mai 2019, le Deutscher Ethikrat, le Conseil d’éthique allemand, a enfin publié son rapport très attendu concernant l’application du « genome editing » à la lignée germinale humaine. In May 2019, the Deutscher Ethikrat, the German Ethics Council, finally published its long-awaited report on the application of genome editing to the human germ line.
