N2  -   La pharmacopée chinoise est issue d’un héritage ancestral qui est pourvu d’une grande valeur à la fois économique et culturelle. La protection de ce patrimoine est nécessaire pour en garantir la pérennité. Cependant, les originalités qui caractérisent la pharmacopée chinoise, c’est-à-dire son ancienneté et son caractère collectif, dressent des obstacles à une qualification juridique classique. Il convient d’envisager les outils pouvant être utilisés afin de promouvoir et de protéger la pharmacopée chinoise.         Chinese pharmacopoeia is an ancestral heritage which has a great economic and cultural value. Its protection is necessary to ensure the sustainability of the tradition. Nevertheless, Chinese pharmacopoeia has typical originalities, its historic and collective nature, which are major obstacles to a traditional legal classification. There can be no doubt that consideration should be given to the different tools that can be used to promote and to protect Chinese pharmacopoeia.
