Abstract
Is it possible to be both a patient and an expert ? Expertise involves the notion of skills and the notion of perspective. As patients are experiencing their disease from inside, one may then wonder what is the role of patients association. Accompanying patients through their daily life is one of the main missions attributed to patients associations by the French Health System, and we shall see it through what the
French Sjögren Syndrom association has achieved to fulfill that role.
