Confrontés à la complexité des situations rencontrées sur le terrain, les textes prévoyant les exceptions au secret professionnel peuvent s’avérer inadaptés. Les termes dans lesquels ils sont rédigés peuvent laisser place à l’interprétation et mettre, de facto, le professionnel de santé en situation d’insécurité juridique.

Abstract
Laws on professional secrecy exceptions can prove inadequate to the complex situations that can exist on the ground. Their formulation can allow interpretation of those terms and de facto represent a legal risk that health professionals face.
