Résumé
Le changement progressif en France depuis le printemps 2017 de l’excipient du Lévothyrox®, largement utilisé en pathologie thyroïdienne, a déterminé l’inquiétude de nombreux patients soumis à la médication. Cette situation, largement relayée dans les médias et sur les réseaux sociaux, a constitué ce qu’il est convenu d’appeler « la crise du Lévothyrox® ». Parmi les facteurs ayant contribué à la survenue de l’événement, le manque d’information directement délivrée aux sujets traités est à considérer comme un important responsable.

Abstract
Has the so-called Lévothyrox® crisis to be related to a defect of information ?
A new presentation with a novel excipient of the medication Levothyrox® was progressively introduced in France since Spring, 2017. A lot of troubles and worries were mentioned by some patients. This situation was widely relieved and discussed in the media and on the social networks, referred as the “Lévothyrox® crisis”. Numerous factors have been evocated, contributing to the event. Lack of direct information of the treated patients, has to be considered as a main cause of the Lévothyrox® crisis.
