Le patient peut-il tout partager ?

Le patient, contrairement au professionnel de santé, n’est pas tenu par le secret. Il a en effet la possibilité de partager toute information de santé le concernant. Cette possibilité soulève des problématiques et met en lumière certains avantages. D’un côté, le partage des informations à caractère personnel peut s’avérer dangereux pour le patient peu alerté. D’un autre, le partage des informations sur sa situation personnelle permettra d’ajouter une plus-value dans sa course vers la guérison et l’aidera à se sentir entouré et compris.

Abstract

Unlike medical practitioner, patients do not owe an obligation of confidentiality. They can share their own health date. This ability raises issues though but highlights at the same time some advantages. On one hand, the sharing of personal data can happen to be dangerous. On the other hand, this could bring added value in their pursuit of recovery and will make them feel supported and understood.
