Abstract
Since its inception, the RGDM has been actively involved in advancing knowledge of and promoting international health law, a field that has long been misunderstood, if not ignored. This branch of health law and of general international law which is in fact essential, is now beginning to develop. This field, which has also become a discipline in its own right, constitutes a modern body of law now referred to as “global health law”. However, it still faces a number of limitations. The author of this article, who is considered a pioneer in this field, takes stock of these developments here.
